Taking yourself seriously

When you want to chart your own course in history, you need to ignore what current history tells you.

When you want to reshape the society, you need to ignore what the current society tells you.

When you want to change the world, you need to ignore what the current world tells you.

When you want to do something, you need to ignore what someone tells you.

See, we end up worrying too much about what people say and think can be done. We look for validations and case studies. And, too often, we give up because it just seems too hard to do something because no one has done it yet. Sometimes you are looking for a template that is not there yet. You need to create it.

Just do what you want to do and don’t take yourself or people around you too seriously.
